Hotel Prabhu Residency

I left really disappointed. The staff were careless and irresponsible, and the owner showed no concern for customers. They told me water was free, then charged me a lot for it at checkout. There were many other things too.

The hotel’s lift needs a password punched in every time, which is cumbersome. It’s an old hotel in a very busy spot near Vir Savarkar chowk, with heavy traffic until late at night. Shivaji chowk is closer, and from there you can walk or take a rickshaw to Vittal temple. The hotel and room maintenance is poor. One room issue or another came up, like a faulty AC, no hot water flow, smelly bathrooms, or unclean towels and bed sheets. There’s no in-house restaurant, and the hotel doesn’t provide a hot water kettle, coffee sachets, milk powder, or tea bags. Overall, not a good choice for families or a longer stay.

The location is convenient, with markets and restaurants nearby, and the hotel has a nice ambience and good service. The main temple is around 1KMs away, an easy walk or auto ride. Rooms come in two varieties, Platinum & Gold, each with a personal lobby attached. It’s a decent place to stay in Pandharpur, with a reasonably priced room that was decent enough.

The rooms were spacious, but the bed covers looked as if they’d never been washed. The shower barely worked, the bathroom was very bad, and there was no handgun by the toilet. The TV had very few channels. I gave it 2 stars because all the good hotels were full, so this was the best one available.
