Hotel Bhumi Residency

Cleanliness is maintained, and the hotel is in a very good spot on the main highway. The service was poor, though. Staff were very slow, food took a long time to arrive, and other services weren't satisfying. Some staff behavior was unacceptable. There's no parking space outside. It's just a place to stay for a day or a night, not somewhere to spend a holiday in Panipat.

I paid 4300 for one night on an official visit and got no service. At the gate, the person spoke to me in the local language, telling me to bring something here and park it there, as if he were talking to a driver. I almost let it go because of his freshly dyed hair, given his age. There was no working phone in the room, so I had to walk to reception whenever I needed something. The cable, which they charged 59 for, worked for a few hours and stopped by morning. The taps were standard hot-water fittings, but you had to manually switch on a geyser hidden under the wall. My colleague and I both showered in cold water before discovering that. No one showed us the switch, what a striking coincidence. Even with the exhaust fan running all night, the room smelled bad. In the morning after checkout, they refused card payment.

The night manager wasn't cooperative at all. Even basic room service requests, a spare glass, bedsheet, water, or tea, weren't handled until we called reception repeatedly, and sometimes called the mobile number for Bhumi residency too. The items arrived half an hour later, including in the morning, which delayed us for the whole day. WiFi never connected to the internet, and the set top box had hardly any channels. The toilet flush released only a little water and then took several minutes to refill each time. The shower had no water, and the toilet exhaust was so deafening that it couldn't be used. There wasn't a laundry bag. Parking is almost nonexistent, and the night manager let vehicles that weren't customers' take up the little space there was. The hotel's visible ratings are highly misleading. Management needs immediate, strict action taken against it. I could never recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Panipat.

The A/C in the room was noisy, but staff changed it, which I appreciated. The food order was a mess: the service boy brought sabzi without chapati and manchurian without fried rice. We waited another 15 mins for the chapati and rice. RIP common sense. Worst experience, especially with the room service.
