Grand Narmada Homestay

The service was friendly and attentive, and the property has a nice charm, but several things need attention. The rooms looked nice, though the bathrooms weren’t very tidy. The lawns and surrounding areas need pruning, and there was rubbish scattered near the staff quarters. I also saw staff sleeping on the reception sofas at night, and some staying in rooms on weekdays, which didn’t seem right to me. The pool filter wasn’t running and the water was dirty. There were lots of mongrels around, with some sleeping on chairs and eating trash, which added to the litter. Safari arrangements need a proper process too: staff seem to fleece guests who ask for help and arrange illegal safaris. That felt very unprofessional. I’m giving a lower rating in the hope the owners deal with these problems before the place gets worse.

The rooms were roomy, the food was very good, and the staff made us feel welcome. We were nine college friends at Gang Narmada Jungle Homestay in Bandhavgarh, and the amenities were wonderful. We wished we could stay another day, but ran out of time. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Bandhavgarh.

The balcony looked out toward the mountains, and the quiet atmosphere made it easy to relax. I especially liked the comfortable bed and the spa. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated, and the reception staff were quick and obliging. Breakfast had plenty of choices, the room was spotless, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Such a great stay and good value.

Manager Amit made our stay at Narmada Grand Resort near Tala Gate, Bandhavgarh National Park feel personal. He kept checking in, even over small things, and was wonderful about making the visit memorable. The team served delicious food with a comforting homemade taste, always with warmth and a smile. Service was prompt, and the rooms were clean and well looked after. There’s also a pool and a speaker guests can use, which added to the fun. A lovely, peaceful getaway.
