OYO 22300 Sri Ramachandra Guest House

There was no water in the morning, so since we had to continue our journey at 6'o clock, we freshened up with the water bottles we had. The night before, I booked a room at midnight, but the receptionist wouldn't let us check in because he wanted more money. My wife and I waited almost half an hour to get the room, and his behaviour was very bad.

We'd already paid OYO for three guests, but the hotel wouldn't provide an extra pillow or bed for the third person. Staff asked us for another Rs 200, even though our accommodation had been priced for three. They seemed more interested in getting extra money than providing service. A disappointing stay, and I won't choose this hotel again anytime soon.

I'd give this zero stars if I could. The rooms smelled very bad, and the AC, lock, and housekeeping weren't working properly. The staff and owner weren't friendly either. When you ask the owner for a proper bill, they may fight with you. They're also from a political background, so you don't want to mess with them.

We were in town for a nearby wedding, and this was a suitable place for our stay. The hospitality was nice and the rooms decent. It's on the highway, a little away from the city.
