Hotel Devanshi & Banquets by Classy Stay

The pillows had drool stains, and the linen hadn't been replaced before check-in. On top of that, we were disturbed after midnight on two occasions: housekeeping and front office staff rang the bell asking about bucket water heaters, and on the third night a wedding party caused noise. A very bad experience over three nights.

The property is close to the Mumbai–Pune Expressway, and the staff were very cooperative. We also had a spacious room and excellent car parking. Cleanliness could've been better, but for a last-minute choice it turned out to be a good experience.

The bar and restaurant service was good, and the room, AC, and appliances were fine. The rest of my three-day stay didn't meet the hotel's advertised standards. There were no tea-making accessories, water came only when I asked, and the toiletries amounted to one shampoo sachet and a low-quality soap bar. The room was cleaned once, while fresh sheets came only after I requested them. The bed linen, blanket, and especially the old-looking pillow were in very poor condition. For the charges, the hotel should keep better standards if it wants guests to return.

The second-floor landing already smelled of onions, and the bathroom was smelly too. The rooms were very dirty and need a deep clean. The sheets were torn and dirty, and the service man who came when I asked for towels, a brush, and a bedsheet smelled bad. It doesn't feel like a hotel.
