Getting to and from this hotel was difficult. It's beside the new national highway 66, where construction is still underway, so traffic blocks are to be expected and may improve once the work is done. We couldn't get an Uber, and staff said flatly they couldn't help with transport. Later, we felt the reception staff and security were acting together to cheat guests: they arranged an auto rikshaw waiting beside the hotel, and the four of us struggled with our luggage to Kollam railway station in it. For 9 kilometers the driver charged 400 rupees, while the Uber fare we had checked was Rs 240. The hotel should arrange reasonably priced transport. This kind of cheating damages its reputation, and management should stop staff from doing it. Guests should check these things before booking.

The ambience was great, and the staff were attentive and courteous, with excellent service. The food quality, though, was below average and needs improvement.

I was there for only about 4-5 hours after checking in, but spent nearly ₹7,000. When I asked reception for a simple paper, they wouldn't give it to me. Very disappointing.
