OYO 44093 Shanthi Residency

The room was cleaned only at night, even though I asked several times from the morning onward, by phone and in person. We were staying two days at Santhi Residency with our family and small children, and I had requested cleaning for the second day. After we came back around 7 PM, I asked reception why nobody had come. When I said I would write a Google review, they replied, “No need to threaten us.” They said they could refund us at checkout the next day. Later someone from reception knocked and said they had given us the room at a reduced rent. I told him I hadn't asked for a discount and had paid what they requested. It was a very disappointing stay, and families with small children should be careful choosing this place. Thank you for your response, but some of what you said is incorrect. You charged ₹1800 per room, not ₹1600. I paid ₹3600 for two nights and have proof. The owner’s response was disrespectful and unprofessional, focusing on the rate and making personal remarks instead of addressing the issue. Paying a discounted rate still means a guest deserves basic service and respect. If room cleaning wasn't included, that should have been explained at check-in. Bedsheets weren't provided at first either, and I had to call reception to ask for them. The cleaning delay wasn't minor: after repeated requests starting in the morning, the room was cleaned at night. I wrote this review after completing my stay, based on what actually happened. Every guest deserves good service and respect, not only regular customers.
