Hotel O Pathanamthitta Near Mahatma Gandhi Statue

We booked four rooms for two days and paid in full ahead of time, but left within 12 hours because the stay was unbearable. I didn't even ask for a refund. Finding the hotel was especially difficult at night: it has a different name, no lights on the board, and no proper signage. There was nobody at reception, no property phone number online, and the only number shown at the property went unanswered for over 30 minutes. At checkout, reception was empty again. After many calls, I was told to leave the key at the door. It doesn't seem to have proper staff. The room was in awful condition, with a broken toilet and no seat cover, towels, soap, or shampoo. There was no WiFi or cable TV, despite WiFi being promised on the OTA. When I asked about it, they told me to use my mobile hotspot, which made me wonder what the TV was for. There's no restaurant on site, and they wouldn't help arrange food from outside either. Water was also an issue: it ran short because of maintenance, and hot water wasn't fully available.
