OYO 16520 Green's Hotel

The people at reception and the other workers were cooperative and nice. It's fine for a night or a day, but there's no parking, so leaving a motorbike outside could feel risky. Food prices are quite high, so I'd suggest skipping a meal here.

The food was delicious, and the rates through OYO were cheaper than market prices, so the hotel was okay overall. But the bathrooms had mosquitoes and no ventilation, and the rooms smelled. Parking was limited, and neither of the two rooms I booked had a working fridge.

I've visited before and can usually accept the mediocre service. This time, though, the table linen had food stains and scraps still stuck to it when we sat down. I had to work to get the waiter to replace it. We ate, paid, tipped him, and left with a sour feeling about the visit. I'm still debating whether to return.

I went to a retirement party and found two separate parties sharing one hall, divided by drapes in a really ugly, unprofessional setup. Each had its own sound system, so everything was scrambled and you couldn't hear what was being said on the mic. The food was pathetic, and waiters were throwing things around. After lunch I couldn't find anywhere to leave my plate. A waiter smiled and told me to throw it under a table or chair, and plates were already lying all over. The ice cream was just scooped onto plates and left on a table, without asking what anyone wanted. It melted while sitting there. People picked it up, saw it was completely melted, and put it back, leaving no room for plates with solid ice cream. The waiters kept staring after serving, expecting tips. It was a mess, and I wouldn't recommend it.
