Patiala Retreat

The rooms were lovely, and the central location makes this good value for the money. They can arrange food from the sister concern next door, and it was good. I do wish the deal included breakfast or that there were an in-house restaurant or coffee shop.

I enjoyed the hotel's simple, attractive atmosphere, and the arrangements here were the one pleasant part of a long, dull meeting with some travel agents who seemed a bit fraudulent. The shared washroom also wasn't as clean as it should be for a good hotel.

We never got to stay here because of Goibibo.com mismanagement, but the staff were genuinely polite and helpful. With hotels across patiala fully booked, they kept calling around to find us somewhere, and eventually managed to book us a room.

There's a lot here for a small gathering, including a good lawn, a spacious conference hall and plenty of parking. The ambience is great and the Royal rooms feel luxurious. It could suit a ring ceremony, ladies' sangeet, or other events.
