The cafe was especially nice, and the ambience was great. We stayed for two days and felt at home, with good hospitality. The food was awesome: Chilli praws, bamboo biryani, and chicken butter masala all tasted goid. I also watched the south indian movie kanappa there.
They wouldn't move me to another room even after I asked. The AC hasn't worked for the last 2 days, despite my complaining, and I'm paying 1680/day!!! I've stayed here before, but got no helpful response this time. If you want a cold drink with lunch or dinner, you have to pay first and only then they'll serve it. That's a very bad arrangement. I travel around frequently as a service engineer, and this has been a couple of bad experiences at this hotel. Nobody here seems professional. I'm not recommending a stay.
Near Didarganj toll tax and City Fuels (Indian Oil) petrol pump, this is a good place to stay. The staff are always polite and well trained, and the hotel provides good service.
Even though we'd paid for an online booking, the person at the reception refused to honor it or let us stay. It was late and we were tired, so we offered to cancel and book directly with him at double the price. He still turned us away. The boy was rude and arrogant. Nearby Hotel Raj Residency had much better rooms, lower prices, and genuinely friendly staff, so I'd recommend that instead.
