I booked the larger 204 sq ft room, which had enough space to walk around. There are also 140 sq ft rooms. The view over Atal Path was lovely, especially at night, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. There was a wardrobe, a large dressing mirror, and a very nice bathroom with a big bathtub. Parking was a concern. There’s no lot, so we had to leave our vehicles by the roadside. A guard was there, but I still didn’t feel they were safe. When I entered the room, I noticed cigarette smoke. They brought room freshener after I complained, though the room still didn’t seem to have fresh air ventilation. I think the air conditioning may have been installed for ventilation, but I’d have preferred air coming straight through a window. I didn’t try the restaurant on the first floor.

The rooms were clean and good, but the desk staff were very unprofessional. Since they work in hospitality, they should speak to guests more calmly and respectfully. Also, there were no slippers in the room. That seems like such a basic thing to leave out.

It was good for families and couples, but the room and menu food were pricey. OYO charged me 1,150, then the hotel added an early check-in fee. On my next visit, OYO showed it as sold out, so I called the hotel directly and paid 2,250, taxes included.

The highlight for me was the Murgh Mussallam with Hyderabadi biryani. I loved it. Magadhi's has a great range of dishes, and I really enjoyed being there. The banquet area is attractive and quite exquisite, suitable for organizing different kinds of functions. The owners also have satisfying rooms available for a stay, including for locals under their certified adulthood policy. It was a superb experience.
