OYO Flagship 24088 Hotel City Centre

The room wasn't clean, and the hotel staff were awful. Even though I'd booked through Goibibo, they charged me an extra ₹500 when I checked in at 9:30 AM.

The outside and reception looked decent, but my Deluxe Room was shocking. I've travelled for 10 years and never seen hygiene this bad. Cockroaches and bed bugs were all over the room. Insects came out of my luggage and backpack, crawled across the floor, and were in the bed too. I was too scared to sleep, so I sat in a chair all night. They came out when the lights were off and hid under the bed, in the walls, or in corners when I switched them on. The toilet was like a public restroom. The faucet kept dripping, the seat was stained and smelled terrible, the shower didn't work, and the water pot was unclean. I'm extremely disappointed with the stay and would strongly advise against booking unless you want to risk your health and sanity. I wouldn't want anyone else to experience what I did. The setup is good, but cleanliness and privacy need work. Room locks don't work, insects are roaming all over the bed, the sheets aren't clean, and the bathrooms are dirty. The AC either cools too much or barely at all.

The hotel is right near Patna junction and easy to reach, but the rooms are poorly laid out and the cleaning is bad. Most of them smell. This is what the rooms at Hotel City centre are really like.
