Royal Bliss

The service was awful, and this was the worst experience of my life. If negative stars were possible, I'd give them even more. Don't go if you want to avoid your BP shooting up.

The hotel is a bit off the main road, and my stay there was very disappointing. They kept insisting on an Aadhar card even though I had another valid ID, my PAN card. People can forget an Aadhar, and having other identification should be enough. I was just meeting my wife at Patliputra Station. Her train was delayed, so I booked a room so we could rest and be safe. Travelers have valuables with them and can't always carry every document, but the hotel still wasn't willing to cooperate. The manager was rude too, asking whether I was leaving before my checkout time was up. Within the allowed time, the choice of when to check out should be the customer's. We pay for the stay and expect basic courtesy. I'm very disappointed with how they treated us. For a single-person booking, I'd suggest offering half portions of food so it doesn't get wasted. Mr Santosh Kumar was very cooperative, experienced, and good at managing things. I stayed in R501, a luxurious room for a budget price. The breakfast and room service were great, with homely food served elegantly and a varied menu. The front desk was cooperative when I checked in at midnight, and they let me extend checkout by an hour because my flight was late.

A nice hotel and restaurant, with friendly staff, good service, and nice management.

Mr. Ujjwal was excellent on the night shift at reception. He was attentive and professional even late at night, handled our requests quickly, and made us feel safe and looked after.
