SPOT ON 72366 Hotel R K Palace

The attendant was polite, and the owner came early in the morning when we reported the problem. He seemed to take it seriously, but we’d already had a rough night and that didn’t undo it. Our room was dirty, likely left uncleaned after the previous guest, and there was no mosquito net or coil, so mosquitoes bothered us all night and we left early. It also lacked basic OYO hotel facilities. The place needs improvement and an Oyo inspection.

I’d already paid through the Oyo app, but the staff still took another 400 rupees and rudely demanded 800. They kept telling me I had to leave the hotel in 30 minutes, or after an extra hour, right in front of my girlfriend. She felt very uncomfortable.

Mr Ranjit, who manages the hotel, is very nice and helpful. It’s near the bus stand and railway station, and the rates are reasonable. The hotel is new, with some work still underway, so it needs a bit of improvement.

The room itself was decent, and I paid 1000 for an AC room, but the bathroom had no jet spray. Staff were rude, asked me for extra money, and handled things badly at the counter when I arrived. Make sure you get a receipt after paying. I found this hotel a waste of money and would avoid it, even if you have to pay more somewhere else.
