The infinity pool has lovely views, especially over the Ganges and city skyline, and the central location makes it easy to reach shopping, heritage spots like Golghar and Patna Museum, as well as food and transport. It works well for tourists and business travelers alike. Rooms are usually clean, elegant, and well-kept, with good bedding and thoughtful amenities. Housekeeping and comfort get positive mentions, and the staff are welcoming and professional from a smooth check-in through the rest of the stay. The in-house restaurants offer local and international food, breakfast is varied, and in-room dining is said to be prompt and pleasant. Some guests find the hotel pricey, and a few mention small service lapses or delays with food service. Still, the hospitality and experience tend to outweigh those issues. Taj City Centre, Patna is one of the city’s most impressive luxury hotels, and a comfortable, centrally located option for a special trip or celebration.

This was our third stay at Taj, and Ms Mancy’s “welcome home” always feels so touching and reassuring. We came for my dad’s birthday and a visit to Shri Harmandir Sahib Patna ji. Ms Mancy made check-in seamless, greeted him with a smile and pranam, wished him a happy birthday, and arranged a cake in the room. The rooms were cozy, warm, comfortable, and full of that Taj feel. As Sikhs, we asked for non-halal non-veg, and the team took good care of us. The chef went out of their way to make delicious dinners and breakfasts for both nights. Chef pramathma rai and Chef nal veer prepared a special fish curry that was outstanding. The buffet was fresh each time, with a good mix of local and international dishes. The pizzas were amazing, and channa chat and sprout salad are must-tries. Checkout was smooth too, thanks to ms pratiksha. Mr rishab helped at check-in and checkout. Since we had a late flight and needed to visit the gurudwara, he stored our bags at the bell desk and advised us on the best route to the airport given the city traffic, all with a smile. After checking out, we spent the day around the city. When I returned for my luggage, I noticed one of my small silver earrings was missing. I mentioned it casually to Mr Rajnish and Mr rahul at the front desk, thinking I might have left it in the room. They immediately coordinated with Mr anuj, who had serviced our room daily, and checked. They found it within moments, had kept the tiny piece safe, and handed it back within seconds. That says a lot about the staff’s honesty, efficiency, and attention to detail. I really appreciate their professionalism and kindness. The whole team puts on a good show. Highly recommended for the stay and the trust and care they show guests.

Everything felt up to Taj standards, from the warm welcome to the delicious meals and the kind send-off from Ayush, Tausif and Shahiba. My 80-year-old mother received excellent care, including wheelchair assistance. The driver, sameer, also took us cleverly to patan devi temple at 6:30 am, when there were no crowds. Food gets high marks too, especially the lavish breakfast. House of Ming is a standout for Cantonese, Sichuan, and Hunan dishes. Many consider it the city’s best luxury hotel, bringing a new level of hospitality to Patna. Guests often call it an oasis with a refined, peaceful atmosphere.
