It used to be okay, but now it’s the worst hotel I can imagine, with uselessly high prices. My scooty’s stand was completely broken and scratched. The managers, reception staff, and guard were the worst too.

The rooms are good, but they’re costly, and the food is only okay, not good. Staff behavior was very bad, and they don’t know how to speak to guests. Room service was poor and the Wi-Fi didn’t work. They wouldn’t let three friends share one family room, saying they’d allow it only if we all had the same father’s name. All that on top of the high room price.

The service used to be good on my earlier visits last year, though I did run into some problems then too. This was my fifth stay at the hotel in Patna, and this time was a very bad experience. The rooms weren’t good, there were lots of cockroaches, and the AC kept switching itself off. Power cuts happened too often. Staff behavior was poor, and they acted as though the problem was my fault and I had no right to speak up. When I asked to change rooms, they didn’t do it promptly and then forgot about the issue.

The location is very good, but my two-day stay was disappointing. At check-in, they asked me for 850 rupees more than I’d paid online. They wouldn’t give me a receipt for that extra payment either. I was handed a room key with no staff member to show me where to go or help me get there. The room was small, with a broken table, a light pulled out of the wall, a tiny cupboard, no chair, and no TV remote. The curtains didn’t block the sun, and mosquitoes were biting me through the night.
