Yanthang Dzimkha Resort

Every room had a wonderful view, and we could see kanchanjangha each morning. It was so peaceful here, away from all the noise, with fresh air, colourful flowers, birdsong, and magical scenery. The staff were caring and went out of their way to meet our needs with a smile. It felt like very good value, and I highly recommend the place.

There’s lots of parking, and the rooms are clean. Food is made to order at reasonable prices, too. The place is a little way from the main centre, but that distance gives it a quiet, pleasant feel. It’s surrounded by mountains and looks out toward a park, with a lovely view of Kanchenjunga early in the morning. Thanks for hosting us!

My wife and I spent two nights here and had a great stay. The place is quiet, and the simple home cooked food was good. In the morning we had a lovely view of the Kanchanjunga peak. Our room was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and hot water was available anytime.

The hosts were friendly and very hospitable, and the place itself is beautiful with great views. But the dogs kept us awake all night, so it didn't feel peaceful. I hope that isn't normally the case. It's also quite far from the town centre. In mid-November, we were cold even with the heater on. The small, clean bathroom was awkward to use and felt cheaply made. I wouldn't stay here again because it was too noisy and uncomfortable.
