There’s parking, and the balcony has a lovely view in the early morning when it’s foggy. The cradle bed shown in the photos is really comfortable too. It’s a compact homestay with two rooms and three beds, enough for six people. One bedroom has its own bathroom, while the other bathroom is outside. The hosts are very hospitable, and the food is priced fairly for its quality. Non-veg food is available as well.

There are no restaurants close by, but the home-cooked food was top notch and tasty. Breakfast and dinner for three of us cost about 2k over four days. The host and his family were friendly and helpful. The house is surrounded by greenery and has a nice balcony view, and the rooms and bathrooms were clean, furnished, and well maintained. A quiet place to get away from city noise for a weekend.

The owners were friendly and helpful, and the sites are close by, all within 20-25kms. There’s a lot included here compared with many other hotels: big rooms, a terrace, and even a balcony. A peaceful spot if that’s what you’re after. Stay more than two days and you can visit every place.

We were four girls visiting Wayanad without much idea about the people or places, and this homestay felt safe. It’s a little way inside from Kalpetta, with a breathtaking view. The family was very friendly, especially the Chechi 😍. They even arranged a cab for us that felt safe and was reasonably priced. Such a lovely stay.

The women in the family were so sweet, and they gave us a good breakfast. The rooms were clean, with a huge balcony and a lovely view. The family took great care of us during our stay in wayanad homestay. If safety is your main concern, I strongly recommend this property. Good value for money.
