Captain Sandeep Thakur made us feel especially welcome with his warm, helpful service. We also had delicious food and found the rooms clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay at Ark Resorts.

The location is a plus: Beta Bawarchi, Rasoi Dhaba, Pandav Caves, and the Boat club are all within walking distance. The rooms, though, felt a bit tucked away, and the dining room food was just okay. We also got no help arranging a Gypsy. At check-in, the receptionist said our booked rooms were only for couples and families, a restriction that hadn't appeared online when we booked. The reception staff and owner were rude, which we didn't expect. For the price, the stay wasn't very good.

The rooms were clean, and we enjoyed the food. But the room landline didn't work, so we had to go to reception whenever we wanted to order something or ask for help. We also asked about a bonfire and were quoted ₹1000 for a single session, which seemed too expensive.

We stayed in one of the cottages at Ark residency. There are only three, right at the back of the property, and they feel completely isolated. It gets dark at night, and there's no landline to call staff. Service was poor. The food was very average, and even after asking three times for stronger coffee, it still wasn't made that way. We had to keep reminding them about towels and toiletries.

The greenery and peaceful setting made ARK Resort a welcome break from the city, and the location felt just right. The staff were warm and attentive, and the owner was welcoming and supportive. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with plenty of choice, and everything was taken care of smoothly. I had an amazing stay and would love to come back.
