Shivansh Green Resort

We enjoyed the good view from the balcony, along with the complimentary dinner and breakfast, which were very good. Our one-day stay was arranged by Decent Holidays. This resort is within 2 km of Rishikesh's important and famous places, so you can walk around and see them in the evening if you enjoy walking. I'd recommend it to people looking for a safe, comfortable stay.

Service was very poor. Whenever we asked for something, we had to wait at least 30 minutes. There was only one lift, and getting to the third floor meant a lot of walking. Guests had to carry their own luggage to their rooms, with no luggage service. The resort's dining area had very little capacity, and the serving platform was the worst I've seen. The swimming pool was also the worst I've ever seen. They called this a resort, but when we went for lunch or dinner, there wasn't even soup, starters, or dessert. I'd give it a negative rating if Google allowed that.

I like this kind of hotel when I'm in India. It's not a four-star place, but I enjoyed my stay. The staff were very attentive, and the breakfasts they made for me were light and healthy. You can walk to everything in Tapovan, while the hotel sits far enough off the main road to feel quiet and peaceful.

Naveen, the restaurant manager, and his staff were VERY attentive. They served us some of the best food we've had in the past two weeks. Whenever we needed anything, it was taken care of within five minutes or sooner. The hotel was spacious and clean. We also enjoyed having a fire at night and sitting out on the balcony during the day. The service was amazing.
