The location is the best part, 5/5, with Kaudia eco jungle forest right across from the resort. The stay itself was average. Food was mixed, some dishes tasted good and others were just okay, and meals cost quite a bit, so book them ahead. Rooms were 4/5. Drinking water came in a Milton jug, with no bottles, and during my two-day stay housekeeping never checked whether it was empty, full, or needed cleaning. They also take pride in not providing dental or other complimentary kits, though these are common at many 4/5-star resorts. Service was okay. Breakfast and dinner are meant to be at 7.30 am and pm, but by 8 the full display was still hardly set up, and nobody seemed concerned about the timing.

We especially appreciated how easily they arranged proper Jain food without onion or garlic, and it was prepared just right. That personal attention made the visit feel special. Club Mahindra Kanatal is a lovely, peaceful property for a relaxing break. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very courteous. Thanks to Aadesh Ji, Nikhil, Chef Sajid, Atul, and Abhijit for the kind welcome and great service.

The valley view from the viewing deck is breathtaking, especially in the morning and again in the evening. Don't miss it! We had a wonderful time at Club Mahindra Kanatal. The rooms were good, the food and ambience were lovely, and the staff were so warm and helpful. Special thanks to resort manager Mr Brijmohan for going the extra mile, from helping us get the right room and plan our travel to supporting us like family with a medical need. Thanks as well to Mr Anil, the travel desk in charge. He arranged a brand new vehicle and a patient driver, so our journey was smooth and safe.

The accommodation is attractive and well maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. As a Club Mahindra member I got a good deal on food, and at that price it was totally worth it. Kaudia Eco park, the national reserve, is just across the road. You can go for walks there without paying.

We felt comfortable throughout our recent stay, and everyone was so welcoming. Sundar looked after us really well in the dining room, chef Vivek was too good to be true, and Suraj ji from housekeeping was extremely courteous. Great hospitality all around.
