The Fort Pokaran - A Heritage Hotel

The best part was the fort's heritage look and the lovely backyard, where guests can have a bonfire and enjoy tasty food service in the evening. It's an old fort converted into a hotel with around 20 heritage rooms. People visiting the fort also move around the property. We had a good experience overall, a hidden gem in the desert.

The fort ambience and appearance are appealing, but the poor food and service made this a disappointing visit. The water bottles were sold above MRP, and when I asked about it, staff casually said foreigners are charged ₹150. That's unacceptable, unethical, and shameful, and shows disrespect to guests while damaging hospitality's reputation. The tomato soup was worse than packet soup mixed with water, with no fresh taste or flavour. The red sauce pasta was plain boiled pasta in tomato purée, without seasoning or garnish, served in a vegetable bowl with no presentation and not worth the price. Butter paneer masala was average at best and needs a lot of improvement in taste and consistency. The food wasn't worth even one star. I ordered tomato soup, red sauce pasta, butter paneer masala, and roti.

The fort is so huge that we were running from corner to corner trying to get the best views. We hardly spent time in the room, which could use more lights. The gym was awesome, and the food and hospitality get full marks. A lovely, peaceful stay at the pokaran fort hotel. Thank you Mr Rajendra for your hospitality.

The fort is well maintained and rich in cultural significance. A must-stay for history lovers, photographers, or anyone after an authentic Royal experience.
