Crystal Homestay by Vista Rooms

The food was top-notch, and we had a great stay. The hospitality was excellent.

The fresh linens could use attention. The bedsheets didn’t look clean or freshly washed, and the bathroom mats looked worn and dirty. A bread toaster and sandwich maker would also be useful additions. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and welcoming, with spacious, well-furnished bedrooms and bathrooms. The bed was huge and comfortable. Prakash, the caretaker, looked after everything we needed, and we enjoyed our stay. I’d recommend it to others.

The hosts made us feel at home with their genuine care, and the homemade food was yummy. We found the accommodations comfortable and clean, with what we needed for a pleasant stay. It was a peaceful escape in the middle of a lush coffee estate, far from the city bustle. The mornings were lovely, with freshly brewed coffee in the air and nature sounds around us. From the warm welcome onward, we felt like part of the family. I’d strongly recommend this family homestay to anyone looking for a quiet stay surrounded by nature.

The barbecue was a highlight for me. It was my first time doing one, and the staff helped marinate the food before we cooked it ourselves. The outside seating was also the best part of the property, and the location was perfect. Food could use improvement in both quality and variety. I skipped choosing meals in advance because I thought we could sort it out after arriving, but that became a bottleneck. The food was expensive, so their pre-planned setup didn’t make sense to me. The manager seemed rude and unwilling to adjust, and I guess he wasn’t happy with us because of that. The caretaker was much better and deserved the tip. One room’s bed was a bit damp, and one person got ill on the last day. I had a very good stay overall, aside from the food.
