The location made it easy to get around: Rock Beach is walkable, and the stay is close to the French Colony, Vinayagar Temple, Kamatchi Hotel, cafés, and bakeries. The room was beautiful and thoughtfully put together, with a vintage chair that added to its charm. Our manager was polite and helpful, especially when we checked in late. He’s from Hyderabad too, which made chatting with him even nicer. There were a few drawbacks. The washroom was tiny, the walls were thin enough for us to hear voices next door, and the first stretch of road to the property smelled unpleasant. Fortunately, that part is short and the rest of the road is fine. We had booked a hut but were given an AC room instead. We were also told they plan to open a kitchen on the property soon, which would be a nice addition. A good option if you care about ambience and convenient travel to nearby sights.

The welcome was warm and the hospitality was good during our three-night stay. Still, I think this place works better for just one night. The room wasn't cleaned properly, even after I asked, which was disappointing. Parking is only outside the property, which is a bit inconvenient. I'd give the stay 3/5, since the price doesn't quite match the facilities and service.

The rooms were well maintained and the service impressed us. They gave our family a great room with twin beds, which we really appreciated. Krishna sir and madam, thank you for such a lovely welcome. The heritage look is great, and the location is convenient for getting around Pondicherry. 100% recommendable.

The place is good enough and the rooms are okayish, and the guy at reception was polite. The female owner, though, was too arrogant. Mistakes happen, but there's a way to speak to people. They're not providing free services, so she should learn some manners. If you want peace, don't ever come to this stay.

The place feels too cramped and narrow to choose another room, either. I booked a hut room on Agoda that was listed as having a private bathroom, but it turned out the bathroom was shared by three hut rooms. Disappointing that Agoda and the property didn't get such a basic detail right.
