Anandha Inn Convention Centre and Suites

For the facilities, the price felt reasonable and good value. I had a pleasant stay at Anandha Inn, with a clean, comfortable, well-kept room and polite, helpful staff. It seems a reliable choice for a short visit or business trip.

A happy stay in a central spot. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and thoughtfully designed, with housekeeping doing a thorough clean each day. Everyone on staff was kind and professional. Room service was a bit slow, though that could be improved.

The breakfast buffet was very good, with lots of variety and a live dosa counter. The location is good and the room was a decent size for our group of three adults. The extra cot, though, was small and really more suitable for a child. Its mattress was larger than the cot and hung off one side, making it very difficult to sleep on for all three nights. The bathroom needs renovation soon. Room cleaning and service staff didn't speak Hindi or English, so communicating was difficult.

On checkout morning, I asked for a dosa with the included breakfast. I watched other people get theirs while I sat with an empty plate for 30-45 minutes. I had to leave because I was getting late, and the waiter who took my request walked by without even a basic apology. We also had a meal order fail badly. I left my father in the room, called reception for a South Indian thali, and was told the restaurant would call back. After I followed up, someone finally called, took the order, and confirmed delivery. Nearly 2-3 hours later, after I came back, it still hadn't arrived. The restaurant said they never got an order. I showed them the number that had called to confirm, but they just shrugged and said they didn't know. Reception gave the same excuse. Only after I escalated and showed the number again did someone casually blame the central call centre and say they couldn't do anything. No apology or ownership. The room boys were very eager to wish us “happy journey,” clearly expecting tips, despite giving no service during the stay. The property, facilities, and location are good, but the service was extremely poor and staff showed no accountability. I wouldn't recommend it unless management fixes how service and guest issues are handled.
