Hotel Soorya Heritage Inn

The fans didn't work, so the room felt stuffy and uncomfortable. It was also visibly dusty and the surfaces were unclean. On arrival, despite having a confirmed booking, I was told there was no availability, which was frustrating. Between that, the poor cleanliness and the broken amenities, the stay was far from pleasant. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay.

Their main agenda seemed to be getting money from us. Staff wanted us to cancel our online booking, claiming they weren't tied up with the application. The rooms were terrible, and the staff were the worst. If you're a woman, this could be especially bad: the washroom has a window with no curtain or door, giving a direct view into the neighbouring room. Don't ruin your vacation by going here.

The room felt like a horror scene as soon as we walked in, and the floor was dirty with no maintenance. There were mosquitoes everywhere. We paid 2,000 rupees for a room that felt worth only 200. The AC barely worked, and there was no geyser or hot water. They gave us a water heater to use in a bucket. There was no water for bathing or the toilet, and when we argued with the owner, he gave us dirty water. I guess they last cleaned the water tank ten years ago. Please, please don't visit this hotel. I've never had such a bad experience in my life.

The bedspread and sheets were so dirty we were disgusted even to sit on them, and there were holes in the room doors. We found a centipede in the toilet water, and the place had a bad smell. The room was poorly maintained and the service wasn't good. It wasn't worth the price, and they wouldn't refund us even though we didn't stay. Those people are money-minded. It felt like a haunted house. Don't choose this hotel.
