Ginger Pondicherry

The rooms and lift need immediate attention, though the location worked well for us. The service from the staff was great. At breakfast, Rupa, Akhil, and Shiva looked after us exceptionally well on all three days, and the food was delicious each day. Thanks to the kitchen team. Febronia, Nitesh, and Veronica at the front desk were prompt and helpful with check-in and other support during our stay, including when we called from the room. The day and night security teams were great too.

The meals at the in-house restaurant were fresh, delicious, and nicely presented. Roopa, Shivprakash and Jeetu from the restaurant team were especially courteous and attentive, making sure we were looked after throughout. The rooms at Pondy Ginger were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the ambience made the trip feel more relaxing. We had a wonderful stay, with lovely food and service. Highly recommended for a visit to Pondicherry! 😊😋😋

The breakfast had a good spread and tasted good: idly, vada, sambar, chutneys, upma, dosa, puri, juice, coffee, tea, bread, butter, jam, eggs, omelet, cup cake, banana cake, salads, and fruits. Dal Tadka was very tasty too. We stayed at Ginger for three days with family, mainly to visit tourist places in Pondy, and it was a comfortable place to come back to. The restaurant hospitality was excellent, especially from Veronika, Anita, and Rupa, who were always ready to help with a smile. F&B Manager Shiva Prakash checked in each time to see if the food and experience were good or if we needed anything specific. The buffet breakfast was different each day, and there was a good A la catre selection for lunch and dinner. Wonderful staff and a great place to stay. Thanks to everyone at Ginger, keep up the good work.

Gopal and Akhil, who were in charge at the counter, were very kind, as was F&B Manager Shiva Prakash. The food was great, and Veronica, Anita, Rupa, and Steven gave us very good service. We had a great stay at Ginger and would like to visit again.
