La Paradise Residency

We checked out and lost our money. The sky tours and travels are fake. They had described the hotel as 3-star, but the actual place falls below even 1-star standards, nowhere near what the package promised. The rooms were cramped, with only dim yellow lighting. The washroom was poorly kept, without a proper mirror or storage cupboard, and nobody was available to help carry luggage. I’m very dissatisfied with how this property was represented.

I went to see about booking a room, but the upkeep was awful. The rooms were old, the beds were terrible, and there was a dirty smell. The manager seemed interested only in getting the full advance, not in providing service. Looks like Paid. I wouldn’t recommend it.

We had paid in full through Goibibo but were refused check-in. Ibibo also couldn’t get an answer when they called the property. The front desk was being handled by a chapri boy who seemed completely unconcerned with our problem. The place felt shady, had no parking, and the open drains smelled like a sewer. NEVER BOOK.

They charge over ₹2000 a night, calling it a “business month,” but this feels more like a lodge than a hotel. For that price, it didn’t seem reasonable. The rooms are tiny and had a strong cigarette smell, which made them unpleasant. It was a disappointing stay, especially since there are many better places in Pondicherry for similar or lower prices.
