The rooms were dirty, and ours still wasn't ready when we arrived early on the morning of 16th Nov. I'd called ahead to say we'd be checking in then, even though the booking was for 15th Nov, but they told us to wait until 10 because the staff hadn't cleaned the rooms yet. The office staff were rude and just told us to cancel if we couldn't wait, even after we explained the booking was non refundable. A horrible experience. Please avoid places like this.

Red carpet residency has neat, clean rooms, and the atmosphere is good. Room service is okay, and the place is economical for the price. It's a few floors high and some distance from the main road, so it can be hard to find. Google location helps you get there. They have a goibibo account, and the rate is about the same on the website or if you book directly.

The best part was being able to rent a bike right there, so I didn't need to search around for one. The rest was just OK. I booked through MMT with breakfast included, but when I asked about it they said they had no such details. After I showed the booking, they sent just two coffee. Room service wasn't great either, and they don't take card payments, though they do accept Paytm. That wasn't a good deal.

Online guests seem to get less attention. We were put on the 4th floor, and the room wasn't worth the money. The lodge has no restaurant, and food ordered from outside took 30 to 45min because there was only one servant. Maintenance was poor too, from the old CRT TV that didn't work to the badly maintained electrical fittings. I wouldn't choose this for a family. Maybe it suits a bachelor party.
