The only things in working order were the AC and fridge. The room itself was shabby and filthy, with dust and cobwebs on the windows, old towels, a sewage smell coming from behind the kitchen, and months' worth of dust. In one bathroom, the flush and shower didn't work; the other had no water. The kitchen had just two or three plates and glasses, stained with old food and drink. When I called the attendant, he told me not to bother because I was only there to sleep. The TV wasn't working either. There was no reception or attendant to greet us, just a phone number for the Captain posted in the front corridor. We called and someone arrived half an hour later to give us a ground-floor room. The property is tucked somewhere in the middle of a street, with no sign, so it's hard to find. We stayed at the end of August, and this was by far the worst place I've stayed in Pondicherry. It didn't match the photos, reviews, or OYO standards. If you still choose to stay, bring mosquito repellent.

We booked two nights but couldn't last even 30 minutes in this horrible place. The rooms were so dirty and stinky I can't explain it. It was the worst experience I've had with OYO, and there was no way to cancel or get a refund. Support was no help either. If you want to enjoy your stay, book somewhere else.

It feels just like a home, a 2BHK house. They provide an induction cooktop and vessels so you can make your own food. Right next door, a small North Indian hotel serves food that's very cheap and really good.

The rooms smelled awful, and no amount of air freshener helped. The AC wasn't working at first, and the flush in one of our bathrooms was out of order. There was no reception either, so we waited half an hour and made several calls to OYO before the property manager arrived.
