OYO 15477 New Royal Inn

The cots were dirty, the bathroom was filthy, and water kept dripping inside it. The AC didn't work at night, there was no parking, and we couldn't sleep for even one hour because of strange sounds around midnight. Auto persons and the hotel management seem to be working together in a terrible business with tourists. The room service was the worst I've seen. This stay made the whole trip awful.

Rooms and common areas were uncomfortable and unhygienic, with little attention to cleanliness. The management felt badly run and unprofessional, and the staff were rude and disrespectful. Basic services and proper facilities were missing. I was also disappointed by the management's judgment around girls' comfort and safety. The place is overrated and not worth the money, and I wouldn't recommend it.

Bugs were crawling all over the bed, there was no hot water, and the building looked cheap and worn out. At New Royal Hotel Inn in Pondicherry, even the receptionist staff were shockingly rude, as if speaking to me was a favor. A terrible experience. This place shouldn't treat guests this way, so save your money and peace of mind.
