Devaki Resort

The location is remote, and walking around in the dark isn’t practical with narrow roads. The intercom didn’t work. We reported it a couple of times, but nobody fixed it, so in the rain we had to go to the office for everything. There were no tea bags, milk or cups in the room. Staff said those weren’t included, and when we asked for tea at 5:30 am and offered to pay for it and petrol, they still refused, repeating that tea wasn’t their responsibility. They wouldn’t help even though women were making the requests. I was very disappointed. Hospitality staff should understand what hospitality means, and I wouldn’t recommend staying if these are the people guests have to deal with.

There’s no kitchen, so lunch or dinner means ordering from Zomato, and the room was full of ants. The new property has no wardrobe or hangers either. Its location is poor: cabs can’t get there, it’s far from tourist attractions, and I wouldn’t book it as a tourist.

The resort is far from the city, and the roads leading there aren’t proper. For the high price, it doesn’t live up to the hype in the pictures. There was no hot water in the bathroom, and the staff were careless and unresponsive. Not a great experience.

There are no food facilities, which made the stay inconvenient, and the staff were unhelpful. We booked for three days, but after a sudden rate increase they made us leave after two nights. That was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. This place isn’t suitable for families or even the basics of a comfortable stay.
