My stay from Jan 26 to Jan 28, 2026 was pretty average. The price was reasonable, and Driver Drujoy was helpful, which made our Baratang trip a good one. The manager also arranged bread and jam for our morning trip. There were a few letdowns. I asked for an early check-in, but the room wasn’t ready and my family had to wait. When I asked the manager to arrange tickets for the light and sound show, he didn’t respond. I also tried contacting the hotel a few days before arrival, but the phone was unreachable; the owner finally answered after several calls made over the day. The ferry service was closed on Jan 26, so I couldn’t visit Ross Island, and the owner hadn’t told me about that when I contacted him beforehand. The room and service were both average.

Shakespeare made this budget-friendly place feel like home. He arranged our transport and even had a packed breakfast ready for 4:00 AM. The rooms are simple but neat, and the service is what really stood out. We enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve booked two more nights for the end of our trip. It’s a warm, welcoming spot near the airport.

We had a family room with two queen-size beds, and it was spacious, clean, and tidy. This homestay is only a five-minute walk from the airport, and the location makes it easy to get around. The manager, Shakespeare, was especially kind and helpful. I’d choose this place again.

This is a bed-and-breakfast, so don’t expect full hotel services. You can order food through Zomato and eat in the dining area. It’s also an easy walk from the airport, as long as you leave through the car entry gate rather than the exit. Shakespeare was a good host, and the aunty who makes breakfast was lovely and served it with a smile. We had a comfortable stay.

We had a nice stay with the family. The rooms were clean, and the owner was polite and handled everything gently. The caretaker and the aunty serving breakfast were both friendly. It’s close enough to the airport to walk, and I’d recommend it for a safe stay with children.
