Blue Sea Hotel

The staff were hospitable, and the food was okay. The hotel is in a strategic location, and the overall experience was good. One acquaintance who stayed here did mention that their room had no connection to the TV.

The one bright spot was the simple but tasty complimentary breakfast, and the location is very close to the airport. We booked two rooms through Agoda, but the service staff didn’t seem to know we were coming. The rooms they showed us smelled musty, and the toilet flush, taps, and heater weren’t working. The blankets smelled too; after we asked, they brought washed ones. It’s a very old, outdated hotel, and we were the only guests there.

The location is the only good thing here. The toilets were dirty and service was poor. The food was the worst part: expensive, but bland. Complimentary breakfast was limited to two items, either plain dosa or two idlis, with tea and coffee that tasted like water.

There was no room phone to call reception, and no room service. My room had no TV either, making this a poor choice for business professionals. They didn’t provide toiletries or towels, and the room wasn’t cleaned. For what I paid, nothing was provided that made it worth the money.
