Grand Paradise

Mukesh was attentive and cooperative the whole time, listening patiently whenever we asked for service. The room service team was friendly and polite too. Our rooms were spacious, clean, and well furnished, and the food was simple, fresh, and comforting, like something from my home kitchen. At Grand Paradise in Port Blair, the whole team made the stay feel warm and easy, especially after long travel days. I've had few hotel stays this comfortable, and would happily recommend Grand Paradise to visitors to Port Blair.

The rooms were spacious and in good shape, which surprised us after seeing the entrance. We had one issue: the bathroom exhaust in one room didn't work well, so there was no proper ventilation. Apart from that, things were fine. The staff were polite and even called to ask if we wanted breakfast packed, since tourists in port blair often leave early for sightseeing. It was a nice stay, and I'd recommend it.

We spent two days here. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the price was affordable. But service took too long to respond, and the washroom exhausts weren't working properly, which caused a bad smell. Couples might want to consider places like Bayleaf Inn for the service.

We arrived around 3pm and were told the room wasn't ready. Once assigned, it was dirty, the flush didn't work, and the water came in an unsealed plastic bootle that had been refilled with regular water. The AC and fan in another room were out, and Wifi didn't work anywhere. There was no cell connecticity in the room with Airtel, Vodaphone, Jio or BSNL either. To get a signal, we had to leave the room and walk through the whole lobby to the main entrance. We asked them to fix things, but kept hearing they'd get to it shortly. We went sightseeing that evening without a resolution, then asked to change rooms. The lady said everything would be fixed in 2 hours. When we got back at night, nothing had changed. The AC and fan still didn't work, and nobody answered when we called. We went downstairs, but the receptionist had changed; the person on duty went into a room and disappeared. It was a terrible choice to boom this hotel. By then it was too late to switch hotels, and we felt helpless.
