The caretaker was very helpful when we arrived, and he got us checked in even though our booking wasn't on the list. He suggested we call him if we needed anything. The rooms were nice and clean, and Mondalji prepared a good breakfast. The location is close to the market and jetty. I’ve still given it four stars because the caretaker was so helpful. I booked through agoda based on the good reviews and stayed for a day. Two weeks before the trip, I contacted the owner to ask for a lower-floor room because I was travelling with my senior-citizen mom, but got no reply. I called the number in the booking details several times and still couldn't reach anyone. On arrival in port blair, it was hard to find the place, and my call to ask for directions also went unanswered. I suggest the owner update the listing with a number someone will answer, or use the caretaker's number to avoid these problems.

This is a top-tier budget stay, and it checked all my boxes. The sea view was great, the food was good, and the dosas and omelettes were amazing. The room was clean, had the basics, and the AC worked well. Mr. Saiful was especially helpful and congenial. There were thoughtful touches too, like soundproof lining on the doors, cots to relax on the terrace, and lots of small extras. Highly recommend!

Ocean Terrace offers good value, with comfort, cleanliness and an easy location close to the port and jetty. That made it simple to get around and see nearby attractions. The food options were impressive, with tasty, well-prepared dishes. There are also a few lovely spots around the hotel that are great for taking memorable photos. Service and hospitality were excellent.

The staff were incredibly supportive throughout our stay, and the fresh, comforting food added to the homely feel. Our room was super cozy, with truly majestic views at Jetty. I was really impressed by the warmth and hospitality. 🤍✨

The balcony looked out over the far sea, and the cozy, homely atmosphere made our first visit to Port Blair one to remember. It also gave us the steadiness we needed while making plans for Havelock.
