The staff were helpful and very humble, especially the chef. They offer buffet options for breakfast and dinner, as well as à la carte meals in the restaurant. Cleanliness was generally fine, though the AC occasionally had a minor issue. A good hotel overall.

It’s a very budget-friendly hotel near the market. After the renovation, the rooms are decent, and there’s a small restaurant where the food is ordinary but okay. If you’re after lots of facilities, this probably isn’t the place. It suits budget travellers who mainly need somewhere to sleep. During the season, a room costs around 2k.

The buffet breakfast was excellent, and the hotel has 24-hour backup power, so outages weren’t a concern. I also appreciated the location, roof service, room cleaning, and the toiletries they provided. I stayed for three nights and four days, and would recommend it. The main drawbacks were that the lift was out of order, despite rooms being on the first and second floors, and the Wi-Fi kept having problems. Staff gave reasons like server issues or power cuts.

The food was amazing, and the hotel seemed fine for a night or two. But the staff were rude and uncooperative, and communication was difficult because they didn’t speak English or Hindi properly. The Wi-Fi signal only reached a short distance, the shower was broken, and the locks were jammed.

I spent about a week here and found it a nice, affordable hotel with good facilities and service. Breakfast is included in the rate, and the menu changes each day. It’s easy to get to the boat jetty and market, and the staff were friendly and provided good service.
