Hotel Pigeons Nest

During my Andamans trip, I appreciated the comfort and daily support the hotel provided. Mrs. Uma, Mr. Anubrata, Mr. Udit and Mr. Joy were especially warm and welcoming, and did everything they could to look after us. Since we were on the AP plan, the chef also paid close attention to our preferences. It was a nice experience overall.

The setting was calm, though it’s away from the centre and there isn’t a shop within 500m. The restaurant is small but good; getting an order took 30-40 minutes, even for water or soup. The worst part was being served fish in the vegetarian soup. I also got the impression there were too few staff, or that some were inexperienced with customers. The room was booked as deluxe, but felt like a small standard room. The water heater was small, so I had to wait to finish bathing. I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but my two-day stay didn’t meet expectations.

We stayed at Piegion's nest recently. The rooms were clean and neat, and the price was affordable. The restaurant food was really good too. I’d highly recommend it for a stay in the Port blair area.

The room was spacious, clean, and well maintained, with a remarkably comfortable bed. The surroundings had a lovely atmosphere, and the place was convenient to reach and easy to find. The receptionist and staff were the friendliest and most helpful I’ve met, warm and professional, always ready to assist. Thanks for making my stay pleasant.
