Hotel Rajadeepam

The location is very good, and the staff were helpful and polite. The food tasted good too. The bathroom needs serious refurbishment. The rooms could be cleaner and brighter, and the furniture could use refurbishment to lift the rooms.

The hotel is in a good spot close to the airport, and the staff were courteous. The food was good, if a little spicy, perhaps because it’s attached to a bar. For another option, there’s Unique, a multi-cuisine family restaurant diagonally opposite Hotel Rajadeepam. It’s a good budget place to stay. The washroom exhaust could be improved. I’m not sure whether the same issue applies to the other rooms.

After a week here, I’d recommend the hotel to tourists traveling with family or friends. The rooms were neat, clean, and hygienic, and the food was fresh and reasonably priced. It’s about a 10-minute drive from the airport, with stores nearby that are easy to get to. Manager Mr. Shumonto and staff member Mr. Shubhendu were kind, polite, courteous, and helpful. Their hospitality really impressed me, and they were available around the clock. This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in a long time, and a comfortable, homely budget stay.

The rooms are small but neat and clean, and the hotel is near the airport. There’s a bar next door, which may be an issue for families. Ventilation was a problem because the only window opened onto the passage and wasn’t useful. The geyser and bathroom hot water weren’t working, and the doors didn’t work properly, so anyone could peep into the room. I changed rooms twice and still had one problem or another.
