Sea Shell Coral Cove

I’d seen some reviews before coming to Andaman and was a bit concerned, but my stay turned out great. The food was amazing, the staff very polite, and the property clearly well cared for. Being close to the airport is a big plus, and I felt my money was well spent. This is a heartfelt, unpaid review, and I think it’s a hotel people should consider for a Port Blair stay.

I’ve stayed here several times and never had a problem. The rooms have always been clean and comfortable, and the housekeeping is very good. Staff across the hotel are wonderful, with efficient waiting staff and prompt, polite, orderly reception. The menu is excellent, and the local fish is worth ordering if it’s on the specials menu. There are male and female spa services; Opa, the male masseur, is well trained and can ease knots and tired muscles after the journey to the island. Near the airport, it’s a good place to drop your bags and unwind after the dreadful flight from the mainland, or before heading on to the island resorts.

We had a very comfortable two-night stay, with polite and helpful staff throughout. Breakfast at Mariposa restaurant had plenty of variety, while dinner at the KAI Lounge was fabulous, especially the seafood platter and egg fried rice. Aishwarya Madam and Ms Radhika ran the front office professionally and gave excellent service. Hotel Manager Shri Anil Rai was friendly and offered all the support we needed, and attendant Shri Prasenjit was always ready to help. A fantastic experience at Sea Sheel Coral Cove Port Blair.
