Hotel Serene Palace

The best part of our stay was the housekeeping team's honesty and help. I left my credit card at the property by mistake and had already returned home to Chandigarh. They found it, traced my details, contacted me, and couriered the card to Chandigarh. Amazing support from a hotel. We chose this property for our last night because it’s only a five-minute drive from the airport. For the price, the service, location, and room size were all excellent, and the rooms were quite spacious for the budget. The food could be better, but outside food is allowed, which is convenient. Highly recommended.

As the first stop on our Andaman trip, Hotel Serene Palace worked out really well. They can pick you up from the airport for free if you email in advance, and they arranged a scooty within ten minutes of our arrival. The rooms are spacious, and the staff are friendly and genuine. The owner also gave us useful local sightseeing advice that helped improve our itinerary. A fantastic stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Andaman Islands.

The main thing I’d like management to address is the rubbish behind the property. There were garbage, plastic bottles, and other waste on their own land, and it was disgusting. They could easily have cleaned it, and I hope they take the issue seriously. Otherwise, I had no complaints. It’s a good value hotel, with nice, clean, spacious rooms and very friendly staff.

Hotel Serene Palace is in a really good location, and the staff are cooperative. Food took a while to prepare, and I found the taste average, around 3/5. The prices are on the high side, which is understandable on an island, but the cucumber salad for ₹250 wasn't fresh. It would help if guests were told about that beforehand. Decent stay.
