I booked through oyo, but after I arrived the person there said they weren't partnered with oyo. That meant spending 300 to get there and another 300 to return to the city. When I asked the room rate, he said 2500 per night. The owner was rude and wouldn't even speak with me properly to explain what was going on. There was no internet connection in portblair, so I couldn't make another oyo booking. This place is on the outskirts, nowhere near the city, so any savings on the room go toward transport. They don't have a proper phone number to reach them either. The area is very dirty and in the slums. Don't book it. If the owner isn't connected with oyo, he should remove the listing instead of misleading customers. Oyo should also take its Andaman hotels off the list, since none of them accept the bookings. The same thing happened to me in havelock. P. S: For an Andaman trip, don't book hotels on oyo. You can go there directly, tell a taxiwala your budget, and they'll take you to a hotel near the city. The internet connection is pathetic, so sort out your bookings ahead of time.

The manager was the worst part of an awful stay. He was extremely rude, couldn't speak to customers decently, and blamed you for any problem instead of listening. They spoiled our trip. The rooms were horrible, with broken things left all over. When we asked for them to be moved, he screamed at us and refused. They even charged for morning tea, which is usually complimentary. There's no WiFi, and the room phones don't work. Lizards were everywhere, the AC seemed ready to break down, everything was dusty, and the washrooms were in terrible condition. They didn't do anything about it. Don't stay here if you want a good trip.

This isn't a resort, just a house with a few rooms, and it's a long way from the city. The hospitality was poor, and they asked for more money even though I'd paid through make my trip. They never cleaned the room. There was no AC on the first day, cockroaches showed up on days two and three, and on the last day they didn't give us the included breakfast. When breakfast was provided, it was only four slices of bread. One star is the minimum, and I wouldn't stay here again.

Very bad experience. The food was poor and far too oily, and the staff were unprofessional. WiFi seems to be for staff only, since guests can't get online. The AC in the rooms didn't work properly either. The place was almost empty, with only a few guests, which made it feel horrible. Staff looked as though they were helping, but actually fooled us. They even sleep anywhere in the hotel at night. UFFFF, so unprofessional.

Stay away from this place. We were left waiting on the road with my family for three hours and still weren't checked in. They kept giving different excuses. The owner and manager were a mess: he wouldn't take my calls, and when we went to the property, he said he was having some sort of fight with oyo and wouldn't give us a room. I've never met someone so rude. He had no decency when talking to customers, especially women. I'm going to lodge a complaint against him.
