Hornbill Nest Resort

We went as a family in December 2025 and booked two Super Deluxe rooms for two nights. The resort was very well kept, staff were polite, and the food was delicious. The sea views and sunsets are among the best in the city, and the green lawns and surrounding nature are the real luxury here. The rooms and resort aren't luxurious, but they have the basic amenities and are fully functional. It's a quiet, relaxing place with beautiful sunsets and sea views right from the room. Travel agents usually don't recommend it because it's a government-managed property. I'd love to return and would recommend it.

We booked two room types for our two nights, a deluxe room and a super deluxe one. Both were spacious, simple, clean, and well cared for. The super deluxe had huge windows over the garden and Andaman Sea, so I could lie in bed and take in the view. The property sits facing east on Corbyn’s Cove beach road, and the scenery is stunning. The staff were warm and courteous, especially for the price.

I first stayed here at the start of my trip, before heading to Havelock and Neil. When I returned, I had a booking at Sea Shell Coral Cove, but the room there was in the basement with no window, fresh air, or sunlight. Sea Shell wouldn’t refund me, but I chose not to stay and booked a room at Hornbill instead. I was glad to come back: the location, service, and rooms are fantastic. They could offer more variety in the food.

Manager M. T. Raju helped make our stay run smoothly with his professionalism, good management, and warm hospitality. The staff were attentive, well-mannered, and made sure guests felt comfortable. The resort itself is beautiful, with lovely views and a peaceful, refreshing atmosphere that’s great for a relaxing break. I had a wonderful experience and would happily return. Highly recommend it for comfort, natural beauty, and top-class service.
