Prayagraj itself was the best part of our trip, with honest people and thoughtful arrangements. The hotel where we expected to rest became a bad memory instead. I don't know whether our experience was unusual or typical, but apart from Himanshu, I have little good to say. He was the one service guy who tried to be nice and helped move us out of the so-called Premium room. I booked a Premium room in my name for two adult ladies, but when my friend and I arrived, they demanded extra payment for an extra person, even though the room accommodates two adults. They wouldn't cooperate or explain the charges logically. They also didn't return the advance I had paid, despite sending me about 100 back-to-back messages on booking day until I paid. We were two women and it was already evening. The team took advantage of our situation. When I told the receptionist I'd write a review, they tried to calm us by offering a better room. That one also had poor infrastructure: broken window sills, a geyser that didn't work, and no towels or complimentary water. The mattress in the image I'd attached was only changed after we kept asking for two hours. The reviews had looked strangely good, which is why we booked. In reality, the rooms were dirty and full of mosquitoes and lizards that greeted you in the bathroom. Hot water was difficult to get, and the food choices weren't even basic. FabHotels customer support was disappointing too.

The poor service and dusty, unclean room made the stay uncomfortable for my family and left us frustrated. We expected a pleasant visit, but there was little attention to either cleanliness or service. I had a very disappointing experience and would advise future guests to reconsider staying here.

We paid ₹8,500 for the room, but didn't get basic things like towels, a clean room, or proper service. The stay was absolutely pathetic, and I wouldn't recommend the place to anyone. We understand prices can rise during Kumbh, but that doesn't excuse such poor hospitality. Guests should be able to expect basic hygiene and amenities. Avoid this place.

The hotel is hard to spot because it isn't visible at once, and it's currently under renovation. There's no lift. My room, 204, was pathetic: a cozy room with a huge washroom. Neither the room nor washroom was clean enough, and the washbasin tap didn't work properly. There were several service problems too. My complimentary breakfast wasn't provided on any day. They said it was only available between 9:30AM and 10AM, but it still wasn't served before, during, or after that time, even by 10:45.
