Hotel Star Delight

Guests kept reporting problems with their rooms, and the response was always that an electrician was coming or some other promise. Nothing got fixed. We had to keep asking for things, but they still didn’t deliver what we requested. The service was pathetic, with false promises all around. One of my worst experiences here.

The rooms were clean, but so tiny there was barely room to walk around the cot without tripping. The food wasn’t that great either. Management even told me I could report it on Google reviews. Thanks to them and their people, trained, or maybe just insensitive, to social media.

We stayed on 18.03.24 with my elderly parents and my elderly Uncle Aunt, and took two rooms. The service was terrible. During four or five power cuts there was no backup, and the lift was faulty, so the senior citizens had to use the stairs. They kept the lift switched off and we had to ask repeatedly for it. There wasn’t even basic water or a tea maker, and the manager was very rude. Not recommended.

Hotel Star Delight in Civil Lines, Prayagraj, was relaxing and comfortable, with clean, spacious rooms that were well maintained and good value for money. Staff were polite, attentive, and ready to help. The location made it easy to reach nearby markets and tourist spots. The in-house dining was satisfactory, with a decent choice of dishes. A reliable option for business or leisure in the heart of Prayagraj.
