Heritage House by OYO Rooms

Strangers were wandering around the hotel freely, and someone knocked on my door at midnight. The fan didn't work, and repeated requests got nowhere. Room service was poor too. The bathroom was dirty, the bedsheets stayed dirty even after I asked staff to change them, and basic cleaning and sanitization were clearly lacking. I based my choice on the property's OYO reviews, but now I think many of them must have been fake. It's nowhere near a good property, and my experience was awful. I never expected such a bad stay with OYO.

The location is good, the staff are courteous, and they do try to help. But the food portions were terrible: a ₹90 rice plate came with maybe 50 grams of rice, and a plate of dal that looked like about 50 grams cost ₹100. On top of that, the staff kept pushing for tips.

Booking ID XTAH0865 The reception staff member took my phone to look up the booking after I went down to ask about breakfast, since the room phone still wasn't working despite me reporting it. He checked me out and left a 5 rating. I was telling him not to give or take a rating, but he ignored me while the man beside him smiled shamelessly. The room was in terrible condition. The tiles and mirror were dirty, the switchboard was damaged, there was fungus on the wall, and the bathroom had no shower and a broken toilet flush. Fraud people, fraud ratings.

I booked Capital O 76417 heritage house two days before arrival and Oyo confirmed the reservation. When I got there to check in, the hotel said all the rooms were full and refused to give me one. I contacted Oyo, but they said there was no alternative and told me to make my own arrangements. The worst experience ever. I didn't expect this from Oyo.
