Hotel Prayag

We stayed in the 3 bedroom suite. The ambience was good, but the price was too high. The bathroom had no exhaust, and they were confused about the complimentary water bottle and breakfast. The value for money was good. Stayed 14 may 26.

My room wasn’t clean enough. The furniture and floor hadn’t been cleaned properly, the bathroom was unhygienic, and the bed sheets, blankets, and towels were dirty. These conditions made my stay uncomfortable. I hope the hotel looks into this and improves its cleanliness.

The station is within walking distance, and there are plenty of rooms at different prices. The rooms are a bit old but clean, so it works for a one-night stay near the station. Online prices are high, so it’s better to book directly.

The staff’s warmth and attention to small details made me feel at home from check-in through check-out. My room was spacious, clean, and well kept, with modern amenities, a comfortable bed, and spotless daily housekeeping. I also enjoyed the fresh food, especially the traditional North Indian dishes. There were local and continental choices too. The hotel is close to the main attractions and railway station, yet the location was peaceful enough to relax. I had a wonderful stay and would happily return to Allahabad.
