The staff were very cooperative, but they can only do so much if the owner doesn't upgrade the facilities. The rooms are old, dusty and rusty, and the hotel feels overpriced. We planned to stay two days, but the staff helped us check out after one. There weren't many guests, so they said breakfast would be prepared fresh instead of a buffet. They did help make some dishes, but at 8.5k a night I expected a bigger buffet menu. Dinner was also enormously expensive: two starters and three drinks came to 2.2k. We eventually moved to Radisson, 1.5km away, where we got a room for 6.5k. I'd recommend updating the rooms and offering more competitive rates.

I was impressed by the meal at Legend Hotel in Allahabad. The place felt elegant but welcoming, a good setting for a relaxed, refined dinner. The North Indian specialties were a highlight, and I enjoyed the desserts as well. Everything I tried was flavorful, nicely prepared and presented. The staff were attentive and polite, and the visit went smoothly. It was a memorable experience, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
