Ginger Puducherry

Roopa, Shivprakash and Jeetu from the restaurant team were so attentive and courteous, and their warm hospitality made us feel looked after. We enjoyed the fresh, delicious food at every meal, with everything presented beautifully. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well kept, and the relaxed ambience made the trip even nicer. We had a great stay at Pondy Ginger and would recommend it to anyone visiting Pondicherry.

Dal Tadka was especially tasty, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of choice, from idly, vada, dosa and puri to eggs, cakes, fruit and coffee. The menu changed each day, and lunch and dinner had a good à la carte selection too. We stayed three days with family while exploring Pondy, and Ginger was a comfortable base. Veronika, Anita and Rupa were always ready to help with a smile, while F&B Manager Shiva Prakash checked in each time to see if the food and our stay were going well. Thank you to everyone at Ginger for the hospitality.

We'd like to come back. The food was great, and Veronica, Anita, Rupa and Steven gave us very good service. Gopal and Akhil at the counter were kind, and F&B Manager Shiva Prakash was lovely and welcoming to us.

A handy feature was the luggage drop, which let us explore freely after checkout. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was clean, comfortable and fairly priced for a short stay. The room service food was the one weak point for me, it was quite average and could be better. Otherwise, Ginger Pondicherry was a nice, convenient place to stay.
